Inishowen Co-Op Announce Opportunity for Paid Digital Marketing Internship

We’re searching for a digital and social intern who is looking to kick-start a career in an established retail outlet with a growing e-commerce platform.  

The one-year paid internship role would suit a recent graduate or a person with relevant life experience who’s a digital all-rounder with good digital marketing skills, looking to put current knowledge to good use and learn along the way while building a future in the marketing world. 

It would be a mixed role. Based in our Carndonagh branch. Some of the time you will be supporting the digital and social team with project research, website management, social media planning/management, and supporting events the rest of the time will be creating social content, filling orders and providing excellent customer service. At all times you will be supported by our team and offered mentoring to help build your professional career.

 

Sound like you?

• Ready to commit for 12 months – with a view to extending further depending on performance.
• A real desire to immerse yourself in events and digital/social industry.
• Competent with Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Canva and various marketing support tools.
• Knowledge on the latest social trends and can propose ideas on how we can tap into these.
• Creative, innovative personality who thinks like the customer.
• Not camera shy! You’re comfortable being in front of (and behind!) the camera phone.
• Can work well in a team and under pressure.
• Can meet deadlines.

Day to day, you’ll assist the team to manage social media campaigns, websites, apps, brainstorm ideas, feed into proposals, create content for our social media channels.
You’ll also research the latest trends in digital and social to ensure we are moving in the right direction!

 Details:

• Initial 12 month internship contract, with a view to extending based on performance
• This is a paid internship.
• It is not suitable for applicants in full time education. Our internship roles include other office support responsibilities so you get to see the workings of the company and interact with all team members.
• You’ll be based in our Carndonagh branch.
